Topic: Colour Harmonious



Colour Harmonious are types of colour schemes that can be used for a
pleasant and representative artwork for the audience.

There are a total of 5 colour harmonious;
  • Analogous : 3 colours next to each other.
  • Complimentary : The colour opposite of one another in the wheel.
  • Split-Complimentary : Similar to complimentary but two colours next to one of the splits                                                instead; forming an isosceles triangle.
  • Tetradic : Four different colours in the colour wheel showing a rectangular or square shape.
  • Triadic : 3 colours forming an equilateral triangle.
