Visual Communication Topic: Texture Texture is unique among other art elements as it is a quality of surface that needs the sensory of touch and sight via feeling of the texture and the sight of illusion. This group consists of: Me (Ariesta) Yee Moon Soon Kuang There are 4 types of texture: Actual , Simulated , Abstract and Invented . Actual is a real object and is experienced through touch. Simulated is something that gives an illusion of the real thing. Abstract is a hint of an originl texture, modified to an artist's taste. Invented is inspired and a pure creation of artists' imagination. It usually appears in abstracted or non-objective works. It is also usually made on accident. The usual methods to do this is to: work with an actual item and paste it physically. Rubbing via trace on top of an item. Stamping via print or a stamp. Visual Communication Topic: Positive and Negative Positive and Negative represents the colour of black ink and the colour of white. Positive represents the colour of black to show the media that it is filled with a shadow. Negative is with white as it shows a black space. [Group Project] Sense of Points

Visual Communication Topic: Points For this topic of subject, it is a group project all until "Positive and Negative". So some images might be missing until after Covid-19 quarantine will I be able to obtain my groupmates' works on their ends! This group consists of: Me (Ariesta) Yee Moon Soon Kuang Points are made from one single spot on a media by a median. The median could be anything as long as it makes a mark on the media. Multiple points can create "invisible lines". While we cannot see the physical line, our eyes can see an "invisible line" caused by multiple points ranging from 2 points and above.
